Oh divine Love
Ocean of endlessness
Field of forever
You romance me
Court me ceaselessly
Breathlessly
Rapturously
Why pretend that I can escape you?
Why pretend that I even want to?
Day and night you pursue me
And I feign my reluctance
Playing hard to get
Sometimes coy, sometimes belligerent
And that only makes you convulse with joy
Knowing that in the end
I will surrender
How infinite is your patience
That you wait without pressure
That you wait with the longing that throbs in my heart
Not you to bully
Not you to withhold
Not you to punish
All of that I do to myself
This mad monkey mind
Blind to its own self-torture
Refuses to let me
fall in love
fall in you
Until I decide,
in the stillness of my inner gaze
that you are indeed
all that I ever want
that you are indeed
all that I truly am
Interested in Mentoring?
EACH MONTH, I work with a small number of people (about 6) in a mentoring capacity. It is highly personalized and uses a body-centred phenomenological (lived experience rather than theoretical) approach and draws on mindfulness and reflective practices. If this sounds interesting to you, you can find out more here.
