To see all the madness
the horror
the heinous
the waste
the unwillingness
the abuse
the resistance
the greed
the vengeance
the deceit
the arrogance
the defeat
the injustice
the blood-freezing abominable
And to know
that there is but one problem here:
The failure to see that you and I
belong to God
equally
And to know
That there is but one solution:
To see that you and I
belong to God
equally
And in the offering of such intent
to imagine its fulfillment
That I believe is Hope
And to act as if fulfilled
That I believe is Faith
