Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God – A Course in Miracles
This is one of my favourite quotes to remember and be guided by.
It is especially useful when I am feeling a sense of loss, abandonment or rejection. Remembering that none of these threaten the truth of who and what I am, that ocean of softly bubbling Aliveness within me and in which I experience the deliciousness of Life, its abundance, its unconditional acceptance and Love, its limitless possibilities, its unsurpassable Power, its wholeness and completeness, my wholeness and completeness.
If I feel that something was taken away from me or denied me, it is because it was never a part of who and what I truly am. It was never REAL for nothing real can be threatened.
This realization brings me back to the present, the here and now and its wholeness and completeness, its unconditional Love. That’s who and what I truly am and it helps to feel so intimately reconnected with this truth.
REFLECTION
Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of god. How does it feel to consider that your true nature, what and who you are in essence, can never be damaged or even enhanced for it is already whole, complete and eternally good?
CALL TO ACTION
Spend time each day really contemplating the quote. Sit in stillness and let it speak to you. Do not argue or try to analyse. Just be present to what is revealed.
