Try being without mind. Yes, put aside ‘mind-full-ness’ and allow mind-less-ness.
To be mind-less, in this sense, is to be free of thought and all associations thereof. It is to stream seamlessly into the Unknown.
What benefit is there in that, you may ask.
In fact, mindfully drawing from the ’known’ is to repeat the ‘known’.
What benefit is there in that? You only maintain the ‘known’, you inherit the given, you repeat the past.
But to tap into the Unknown, to go where you have never been before, that is the purpose of life.
That is how you stay ALIVE, that is how you reach into the source of all life, all energy, all power.
Repeating yourself is wasteful. It keeps energy away from you.
You have a job to do and it is the same job that everyone else has. It is to stay ALIVE.
Interested in Mentoring?
EACH MONTH, I work with a small number of people (about 6) in a mentoring capacity. It is highly personalized and uses a body-centred phenomenological (lived experience rather than theoretical) approach and draws on mindfulness and reflective practices. If this sounds interesting to you, you can find out more here.
