Oh my
how it hit me
Actually,
how it didn’t!
It just stealthily arrived
(I barely noticed)
And made itself quite at home
right there, under my rib cage
Slowly burning into my chest
tightening the muscles around my mouth
so that I was not smiling any more
but looking glum and superior
my companion no longer with me
but pushed away by that
crazy, sickening envy!
And then,
I remembered
to notice in my breath
and hers
the Oneness
that we are
Not she and me
but We
Envy fractured by
Unity
Interested in Mentoring?
EACH MONTH, I work with a small number of people (about 6) in a mentoring capacity. It is highly personalized and uses a body-centred phenomenological (lived experience rather than theoretical) approach and draws on mindfulness and reflective practices. If this sounds interesting to you, you can find out more here.
