I catch myself in the middle of doing the dishes or washing my hands or doing the laundry or vacuuming the floor and realize that I am hurrying. It’s driven by a sense that I need to be doing something else, that I want to be doing something else that is better or more important than this.
Why are you hurrying? What is more important than what you’re doing right now, whatever that is?
Because if something is more important than this right now, then you should be doing that and not this.
But if you’re choosing to do this, then you must allow it to be the most important thing that you’re doing.
So, allow yourself to honour it by being present to it fully, which, in effect, is allowing yourself to be present to your SELF , to all that you truly and naturally are, fully, right now.
That’s where you will find peace, joy, freedom. All those beautiful states of being that you are deeply seeking to experience!”
